Peach and Sour Sauce
Sweet, tangy, and packing just the right amount of heat, this Peach Ginger Sauce is the flavor boost you didn't know your meals were missing. Drizzle it over grilled chicken, shrimp, salmon, rice bowls, stir-fries, or even use it as a dipping sauce - after one batch, you'll be looking for excuses to put it on everything!
Ingredients
Peach Purée:
- 1-2 peaches, halved and pitted
- A splash of water
- A squeeze on lemon juice
Sauce Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups peach purée
- ½ cup rice wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp. fresh grated ginger
- 1 tsp. chili flakes
Instructions:
- Combine the halved peaches, water, and lemon juice in a blender, and blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan, along with the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat.
Tip: This purée can be stored in a jar for up to a month!
