Peaches & Cream Bars

Peaches & Cream Bar

Is there a combination more classic than peaches and cream? These decadent bars pair the two favorite flavors in a simple summertime treat.

Kitchen Tip: When lining a baking dish with paper, place the dish on a large piece of parchment or wax paper and use the back of a knife edge to trace around the bottom of the pan. Use those marks to crease the paper to fit inside the pan. Additionally, the paper will stay in place much better if you spray the pan with non-stick spray prior to pressing the paper in place.

INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
1 stick (½ cup) butter, melted
⅓ cup sugar
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup white chocolate chips
5 peaches, pitted and cubed (about 4 cups)
2 T all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 9x13 straight-sided baking dish by lining it with parchment or waxed paper.

Mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and sugar until thoroughly combined. Spread evenly across the bottom of the baking dish and, using the back of measuring cup or other smooth surface, press the mixture down firmly to form the crust.

Spread the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the prepared crust. In a mixing bowl, combine the cubed peaches, white chocolate chips and flour and toss until coated. Distribute evenly across the surface. Bake on the center rack of the oven for 45 minutes.

Remove and let cool. For best results, refrigerate prior to cutting into bars.
